Who’s The Vigilante?
As a Manhattan District Attorney, Adrian Chase worked within the system to dismantle Manhattan Mafia infrastructure. He would even work with the New Teen Titans. When Chase’s wife Doris, his son Adam, and daughter Drew were killed by a bomb planted by the Scarapelli mob family, Chase sought his own justice as the Vigilante.(Photo credit: Moviepilot)
He underwent an extremely training, taught by a number of mystical spirits seeking revenge. He came back to the city perfectly synchronized between mind and body. As the Vigilante, he dispensed justice harshly! He inspired many heroes to attempt to make tougher choices!
Adrian’s career was riddled with defeats. Guilt-ridden over his abandonment of the rule of Law, Chase attempted to cease his Vigilante activities on several occasions.

He would be seen again in the events of “Day of Judgment” as one of the many heroes stuck in purgatory. He would aid the Sentinels of Magic, JSA, and Hal Jordan in escaping. This action would send Adrian up to Heaven along with the other trapped heroes.
