Wonder Woman has done a lot for the comic book movie industry. Not only is Wonder Woman the VERY FIRST FEMALE SUPERHERO MOVIE, but this movie possibly redeemed the DCEU and has silenced all the hate. So Patty Jenkins…I thank you for saving a movie universe with so much potential!
I was looking forward to seeing the movie, but after seeing that it got rated fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, I got super excited to see it and it got a good rating for a very good reason. This movie is amazing!

Gal Gadot. I loved her portrayal in Batman vs Superman, but this movie REALLY MADE ME fall in love with her portrayal (and her as well. Pretty sure my eyes where hearts during the whole movie). She was so magestic throughout the whole movie. I mean she just killed it! You can tell she put so much effort into this role. She conveyed the Amazonian personality perfectly!
She was a good choice for Wonder Woman because she’s the embodiment of an Amazon, she was in the Israeli army and she can kick ass!
I find it hard to believe she couldn’t find a lot of work until Batman vs Superman.
Next to Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor had me hyped up for the movie. Chris Pine as Steve Trevor was a casting made in heaven. Chris did a great job bringing Steve Trevor to the big screen, he and Gal had such great chemistry and I LOVED IT. (Photo credit: Screen Rant)
I loved their scenes in the village, they really sold the romance between each other.
I knew something was going to happen to Steve because…dude can’t live forever. But what happened to Steve almost had me in tears. I feel like we’ll see Steve again because Diana looks like she’s still hung up on him.
Some people are rooting for Wonderbat, a Batman and Wonder Woman relationship. I’m all for it, but I want see more of Diana and Steve’s relationship.
Ares was the villain of the movie, and the twist at the end was a surprise! I never knew that he would be dirty due to him being all “Yeah, yeah. Go to the front and stop this war,” but now that I think about it…the cards were all there.
To be honest. I thought Steve was Ares in disguise. Don’t know why but I just had a feeling.
Everyone else in the film did a phenomenal job with their parts. I did find it off that Danny Huston played an actual German general in the movie…but I guess it was for accuracy or realism I guess.
Yes, General Ludendorff was real.

The action was AMAZING. Gal and Chris kicked so much ass in this movie! The fights were so well choreographed.

Not ONE was a let down. They were fantastic eye candy. The possible best fight scenes were between Wonder Woman and General Ludendorff and Wonder Woman vs Ares.
The movie’s story is possibly the best story we’ve gotten in the DCEU. Diana gets a long lost photo of her and Steve, thanks to Bruce Wayne, and that led to her remembering her time with him. Yeah the movie did take awhile to pick up…but it was well worth the wait in my opinion.
The No-Man’s Land scene was heart wrenching AF.
So what are my overall thoughts on Wonder Woman? This movie is a comic book movie masterpiece, and it’s one of my all time favorite comic book movies.
